Prophetess Gwendolyn F. Patrick, Senior Pastor "Pastor G”
Gwendolyn was born in Benton Harbor Michigan. Her parents moved her to California in 1963.
As a child growing up she has always had a passion for music. At the age of 4 her Godmother taught her the words to “He’s Got The Whole World In his Hand”. As a child, she always had a good rapport with adults and other children. As a youth growing up, she did not realize she would be become the anointed woman of God to sing and Preach the Gospel.
As a youth going on field trips with the school she would turn the bus in to a gospel bus choir. She would literally teach the students church songs and direct them as to what to sing and how the melody went. The students were very much excited and full of enthusiasm. This excitement would continue until they reached there destination.
Gwendolyn was raised in the church which was and has been a great influence in her life. She is currently a member of Church of Christ Apostolic Faith, Outreach Ministries in Colton CA., under the leadership of Pastor Isabella Brazier.
Gwendolyn has been the Choir Directress, Youth Mentor, and currently the Assistant Pastor under the ministry of Pastor Isabella Brazier at Church of Christ Apostolic Faith Outreach Ministries in Colton, CA.
She has also been the Praise and Worship leader for 20 plus years at. C.O.A.F. Her greatest passion and talent is Free lance writing. Even though she has a talent for poetry her ultimate passion is music.
As a youth growing up in the church, her mother would take her with her to several events or engagements where her mother had to speak or teach. Often, times there would be a special request just for Gwendolyn to sing, if she was in the congregation. At her youth she was very bold. Fear never comes to mind. Each time she would captivate the people with her anointing, poise and charm.
Gwendolyn never thought about what she had as a talent. She just enjoyed what she felt while she was ministering through music.
Her mother, always new that her baby girl would be used in a unique way; even as a child, God would use her to minister to her mom with messages in a prophetic way. Sometimes, it was unreal. She has been anointed from her mother’s womb to preach the gospel. God has blessed her with a very unique ministry. Also, God has given her a great sense of humor to heal anyone that is in her presence. Once she was told by an individual she had just met, “I wish I could wrap you up and fit you into my purse”. “I would love to take you home for keeps”. Evangelist Prophet has many gifts. One of them is the Gift of Healings.
Being very young when called to the ministry, she did not want to be still enough to preach the gospel. It took too much discipline. It was always easier to sing. She found out that after she had accepted her calling to preach is when the enemy’s attack became harder and harder. However, the anointing became greater. There is always a price to pay for a higher calling or anointing.
She believes in “keeping it real”.
Evangelist Patrick has always had a passion of praise in her ministry, even, though she has had unexpected tragedies arise in her life, she has let nothing come between her and her relationship with God.
