OUR HISTORY
Church of Christ, Apostolic Faith, Outreach Ministries, Inc. was founded by Pastor Brazier in August of 1981. Meetings were first held in the homes of the members as well as in her own home. When the church started to grow, they shared a building with a Community Center and then with a small Catholic Church. Through miraculous means, Pastor Brazier was led to a vacant building, which soon became solely occupied by the church for many years. Through patience, prayer, vigilance and providence, Church of Christ, Apostolic Faith, Outreach Ministries, Inc. purchased a building and lot in Colton, California. Their first services in their new building took place in October of 2000.
OUR SPIRITUAL ADVISOR
Pastor Isabella Brazier of San Bernardino, California, has been preaching the Gospel for 34 years. She was baptized in Jesus’ name and filled with the Holy Ghost in Benton Harbor, Michigan in 1952, under the leadership of the late Elder W. H. Hunter. She has been walking by faith for 62 years, not once being tempted to turn back.
Pastor Brazier has had many years of extended study in Christian Education. She has been a student of Aenon Bible College on both the East and the West Coast. She also attended the A. Wetherell Johnson Bible School in San Bernardino for five years.
Pastor Brazier is an ordained minister, and has served on the Credential Committee of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. She currently participates in many outreach programs, and her compassion and concern for all races of people has been a great asset in the community. In the future, Pastor Brazier plans to build a fellowship hall which will include a large kitchen for serving the church as well as the community in Colton.
Isabella Braizer Sr. is now serving as our church's spiritual advisor. She continues to encourage and uplift our church family.
